The makeup used is water-based, hypo-allergenic, FDA approved,and washes very easily. For events where the model needs to dance or may sweat, an alcohol based paint may be used...it's waterproof, but a bit tougher to wash off. Bodypainting takes anywhere from 45 minutes to 5 hours depending on the complexity of the design.
